FAQs
Questions our donors, devotees and volunteers ask
Donations & receipts
Is my donation eligible for tax exemption?
Yes. Donations to OM ANANTAM FOUNDATION are eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to the provisions of the Act and your own tax position. The 80G registration number is published on the donation information page once the foundation confirms it against its certificate.
How do I get my donation receipt?
A computer-generated 80G receipt (PDF) is emailed to you immediately after a successful payment, and an SMS confirmation is sent to your registered mobile number. You can also download it any time using Download 80G Receipt in the top bar.
Is PAN mandatory?
PAN is required only when you want the 80G tax benefit; the receipt then prints your PAN. Without PAN your donation is still recorded and receipted, but marked “tax benefit not claimed”.
Can I donate without giving my address?
No. The donation form requires a postal address because it is a statutory field on the 80G receipt.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes — tick “Make this donation anonymous” and your name will not be shown publicly. We still keep your details in our records for receipt, audit and 80G compliance.
What is the minimum donation?
₹100. Suggested slabs are ₹500, ₹1,000, ₹2,500, ₹5,000 and ₹11,000, or any custom amount up to ₹10,00,000 per online transaction.
Which payment methods are accepted?
UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), net banking, and debit/credit cards through our payment gateway. Offline NEFT/bank transfer and cash are recorded by the office only, with a manual receipt.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Payments are processed on the gateway’s PCI-DSS compliant page; the foundation never stores your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials on its servers.
Can I get a refund?
Donations are generally non-refundable once the 80G receipt is issued. Exceptions are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Can my company donate?
Yes. For CSR or corporate contributions, write to omanantamfoundation@gmail.com and we will share the registration, PAN, 80G and bank details along with a formal acknowledgement.
🕉️ Spiritual Trips
How do I book a seat on a spiritual trip?
Open 🕉️ Spiritual Trips, choose the trip, select Book / Register Now, fill the devotee and traveller details, and pay online. Your booking is confirmed the moment the payment is verified.
Will I get proof of booking?
Yes — immediately after confirmation you receive a Trip Confirmation Slip (PDF) with a QR code and a Spiritual Trip Donation Receipt (PDF), both emailed to you and downloadable from Check Booking.
What if I cannot pay online?
The office can register your booking and record a cash/UPI/bank payment. Booking status changes to Payment Received, then Confirmed, once the payment is verified.
Can I book for my parents or for a group?
Yes. Select the number of persons and enter each traveller’s name, age and gender. Seats are limited, so book early.
Is Aadhaar mandatory for the trip?
No. Aadhaar is asked only where genuinely required, is stored securely, and is always shown masked (for example XXXX-XXXX-1234). Never share your Aadhaar OTP or full number over phone, SMS or chat.
How do I check or re-download my booking?
Go to Check Booking, enter your registered mobile number and Booking ID, and download the receipt or confirmation slip.
Can I cancel my trip booking?
Yes. Cancellations reported 7 days or more before departure may be reviewed by the office for a full or partial refund. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy; seats are non-transferable without written consent from the foundation.
What should I carry on the trip?
Your confirmation slip (printed or on your phone), a valid government photo ID matching the registered name, medicines you take regularly, and comfortable clothing. Report at your boarding point at least 30 minutes before departure.
General
Can I volunteer?
Yes — assistance with blood donation camps, eye camps, trip coordination and social media is always welcome. Use the contact form and select “Volunteer”.
Are beneficiary photographs published?
Only with written consent from the beneficiary or family, and never alongside medical details.
