How refunds and cancellations work for donations, spiritual trip contributions and failed payments.

Donations made voluntarily to OM ANANTAM FOUNDATION are intended to support the charitable, social welfare, humanitarian, educational, medical, spiritual, community development and other permitted activities of the Foundation.
Except in cases of an erroneous, duplicate, unauthorised or technically failed transaction, donation cancellation or refund requests may generally not be accepted once the donation has been successfully processed.
If a donor believes that:
the donor should contact OM ANANTAM FOUNDATION as soon as possible with the transaction details.
After verification, the Foundation may coordinate with the relevant payment gateway/bank and process an appropriate resolution.
Such a request should reach us within 7 days of the transaction, with the receipt number, the payment reference and a written request to omanantamfoundation@gmail.com. Anonymous donations are covered on the same terms — the donor only needs to identify the transaction.
In case an amount is debited from the donor's bank account but the donation transaction is not successfully completed on our website, the donor should contact us with the transaction/reference number.
The matter may be verified with the payment gateway and banking institution.
Any applicable refund shall be subject to the payment gateway/bank's settlement and refund process.
A donor may request cancellation before the transaction has been finally processed, where technically and operationally possible.
Once a donation has been successfully processed and recorded, cancellation/refund will not be available except where required by applicable law or in cases of duplicate, erroneous or unauthorised transactions.
Payments or contributions relating to Spiritual Trips, pilgrimage activities, events or specific programmes may be subject to separate cancellation and refund terms displayed at the time of registration.
The applicable terms for the particular activity shall prevail.
Where a trip does not publish terms of its own, these standard slabs apply to its contribution:

Cancellations are recorded against the Booking ID with the reason, and reflected in the booking status as Cancelled (and Refunded once the money is returned). Refunds are not payable for a partially completed trip, or for unused days, meals or darshan.
Seats are non-transferable. Substituting another person in place of a registered devotee requires written approval from the foundation before departure.
Where a refund is approved, it shall ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or another legally permissible method.
Cash refunds shall not ordinarily be provided for online transactions.
Write to us or call the office (Monday–Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM) with your name, registered mobile number, receipt number or Booking ID, payment reference, amount, date and the reason for the request. Cancellation requests are effective once confirmed in writing — the time of the written request determines which cancellation slab applies.
We acknowledge every request and respond with a decision within 7 working days. An approved refund is initiated within 5–7 working days of that decision; the bank may take a further 5–7 working days to credit the amount. Refunds are made to the original payment method only — we cannot refund to a different account, card or UPI ID.
